PGI Whipstock System allows faster high-quality windows and side tracks tailored to the customers’ requirements.

- Deployment Tool can be shear released upwards or downwards allowing flexibility in the choice of drill string components required.
- Deployment Tool Shroud design allows high torque transmission through the System.
- Shear Pin design shears flush with Whipstock Face to prevent Drill Bit damage.
- All Shear Pin components are retained. No debris is left downhole.
- Simple design offers easy field Assembly and hook up.
- Flexible design offers Systems to be run as Cementing Type Systems, Open hole Packer Type Systems, or Openhole Expandable Anchor systems.
- Allows for accurate control of kickoff depth and direction.
Available for Casings Sizes: 4.50” to 13-3/8”
Expandable Anchor
PGI Hydraulic Expandable Anchor allows anchoring of Whipstock Systems in openhole and casedhole applications.
Features, Advantages, and Benefits:
The 4-Slip design ensures Assembly is centralized correctly when set.
- Assembly remains locked in the expanded position once pressure is bled off.
- Custom Configuration Calculation program ensures Anchor setting and release loads are correctly configured to suit any application.
- The design ensures Anchor cannot be accidentally set while running through restrictions or poor hole conditions.
- Can be quickly configured to be drop ball set by removal of one part allowing cement to be pumped through Assembly if used in Cement Whipstock application.
- Slip interface design allows high torque resistance through the Assembly.
- All Shear Pin components are retained. No debris is left downhole.
- Straight pull release.
- Slips are fully retracted below O.D. of Assembly during release operation.

OpenHole Whipstock Retrieval Tools
PGI Retrieval Die Collar allows Retrieval of Whipstock Systems in cased hole applications.
Features, Advantages, and Benefits:

- A one-piece main body increases strength and reliability.
- Internal thread matches thread on the top section of Whipstock eliminating the requirement to cut a thread while rotating onto the Whipstock.
- Can be supplied with plain bottom or with a cut lip guide.
- Can be supplied to suit specific Casing ID.
