Derryck has extensive leadership experience in the oil and gas industry, having held various positions throughout his career. As the Managing Director and Founder of ProGrynd International, he has successfully managed teams and projects in the drilling and downhole fishing operations. His experience includes not only operations but also business development, strategic planning and project management. He has a proven track record of delivering results and driving growth within the industry. His in-depth knowledge and expertise in drilling and downhole fishing, coupled with his strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to effectively manage complex projects, make him a valuable asset in the industry. His experience and achievements have earned him a respected reputation within the industry.

PGI provides our clients with a complete service solution to support our downhole products that include in-house engineering design, on-site service engineers and our consultancy services. We further complement our service by offering full machine shop services which include repair, maintenance and rebuild, redressing, hardbanding, and connection repair.

Our History

Power to The Industry

PGI was Established in March 2006 and has its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. The continued success of PGI has since seen the expansion of the business into Saudi Arabia in 2014 with the establishment of our third workshop facility in the oil and gas hub of Dammam. This expansion of our services to serve Saudi Aramco and the drilling service companies is a significant achievement for the company which we are very proud of. Which is a testament to the quality of our products and our service delivery record.

The senior management at PGI has over 80 years of combined experience in the drilling and downhole fishing disciplines of the oil and gas industry which provides our clients with a highly qualified team that delivers solutions based on true knowledge and experience. The manufacturing and service team at PGI consists of over 50 dedicated, highly trained, and experienced employees. Our products and services are only as good as the people who design, build and install them and by recruiting, supporting, developing, and retaining the highest caliber staff, PGI brings local knowledge to global operations.
